NbSouth Knowledge Exchange Seminar
NbSouth, a Polisocial Award Project, explores nature-based solutions for climate adaptation in cities in the Global South. As part of the project’s knowledge exchange activities, it presents a one-day knowledge exchange seminar on “Solutions based on urban nature for climate adaptation”, scheduled for February 13, including morning and afternoon sessions. It serves as a dynamic platform for researchers, practitioners, and students to share, discuss, and broaden their knowledge about innovative, nature-based approaches. By facilitating the exchange of knowledge and practical experience, the event aims to raise awareness of the application of NbS in different urban contexts and their contribution to climate adaptation. The seminar also seeks to address the disparities in NbS practices between the North and South of the World, stressing the critical role that context-based NbS, Effective and equitable can play in improving urban resilience to climate change in rapidly urbanising areas.
