As part of the “Copernicus Dialogues”, a joint initiative of the National Research Council and the Polish Academy of Sciences in Rome, Friday 12 July 2024 will be held a workshop entitled “Enhancement of nature-based solutions for sustainable agriculture and ecosystem health” at the headquarters of the Polish Academy in Vicolo Doria 2 in Rome.

The workshops are organized by various CNR institutes (IRET, IRSA, ISB, PAN) and aim to provide an overview of the current cooperation between Italian and Polish scientists in the field of sustainable use of resources, natural solutions for decontamination of water and soil and the production of healthy agricultural products. The initiative also aims to discuss key topics of common interest, improve mutual contacts and strengthen cooperation to implement future design initiatives at national and European levels. In particular, ongoing projects to promote broader initiatives will be presented, for example joint proposals under Horizon Europe and COST Action. Part of the workshop will be dedicated to a round table to discuss research results in the framework of European perspectives and strategic directions for the development of nature-based solutions.

Due to the limited number of places at the Station headquarters, we invite all interested parties to participate and listen to the conference online .
