This edition will focus on prioritizing NbS in rural areas, particularly wetland restoration, with a case study on Lake Beleu in Moldova.
In this session we will delve into phases 2 and 3 of the 7-phase integrated management approach of the UrbanByNature programme, exploring co-creative frameworks for sustainable action in rural areas. You will hear from expert speakers, including Anatolie Risina, who will address governance challenges in ecosystem restoration, and Dr. Agata Klimkowska, a specialist in wetland restoration. Additionally, students Sebastian Salcedo (LLM) and Christian Simeoni (PhD) will present innovative ideas developed during the recent NBS EduWORLD Hackathon.
