NBS EduWORLD project is excited to invite you to the latest session of its webinar series! This webinar will focus on steps 4 and 5 of the UrbanByNature programme, exploring how to foster commitment and implement long-term solutions that protect and enhance urban nature and biodiversity.

Simon Benateau will share insights on how citizen science can be used to develop, implement, and gain local acceptance for nature-based interventions. Ana Simic and Ana Mimic will present Belgrade’s innovative greening plans and co-participatory design processes for green corridors, aligned with EU policies like the Urban Nature Plans.

Additionally, NBS EduWORLD Hackathon 2024 winner Swan Yee Tun, together with Carme Machi Castaner from ICLEI Europe, will showcase a project in Belgrade that integrates environmental science principles, wetland design for riverbank stabilisation, and river contaminant control, offering an inspiring approach to incorporating nature-based solutions.
