After the success of the first edition, Agriworld Expo returns, the event dedicated to innovation and sustainability in the agricultural sector. Organized by the Rete di Imprese Basilicata In Guscio, in collaboration with public entities, private companies, and industry players, the event provides an opportunity to discuss the challenges and opportunities of future agriculture.
Agriworld Expo presents an integrated format that combines exhibition areas for public entities and national and regional companies with a congress program featuring forums, workshops, and seminars. The event targets a wide audience of professionals: institutions, entrepreneurs, technicians, researchers, students, and trade associations.
The 2025 edition will focus on the theme “Investing in Resilience”, with a focus on innovation, sustainability, and the enhancement of agricultural and forestry resources. Particular attention will be given to Nature-based Solutions (NbS) applied to agriculture, with a dedicated panel on implementing concrete solutions for a more resilient and sustainable sector.

NATURE-BASED SOLUTIONS AND AGRICULTURE: FROM RESEARCH TO BUSINESS
On May 23, 2025, NbS Italia Hub will coordinate a panel within the event, titled “Nature-based Solutions and Agriculture: From Research to Business”, focusing on concrete and applicable solutions for a more resilient agriculture. The panel will feature technical-scientific interventions from industry experts, including Prof. Gentile (UNIBA), Prof. Tamburini (UNIBA), and Gregorio Sgrigna (CNR-IRET). It will be an unmissable opportunity to delve into the potential of nature-based solutions in agriculture and their impact on the sector.
National Conference “Research and Innovation: For a Sustainable Future”
During the event, the National Conference “Research and Innovation: For a Sustainable Future” will also take place. Those interested can submit abstract contributions by April 16, 2025. It is an important opportunity for researchers and professionals to present new ideas and innovative solutions for the future of agriculture.
