The Green Week Academy 2025 represents a training opportunity for students of all levels interested in sustainability, the green economy, and ecological transition. The initiative aims to provide a comprehensive dive into the world of sustainable economy, offering direct interaction with industry experts, prominent entrepreneurs, and leading companies in Italy.
The event will take place from March 25 to March 30, 2025, and includes two main phases:
- Study Tour “The Factories of Sustainability” (March 25-27): In the first three days, participants will have the opportunity to visit Italian companies in the field of sustainability and ecological transition. Through a program of guided tours, selected students will gain firsthand knowledge of sustainable production processes and technologies used to minimize environmental impact, meeting entrepreneurs and professionals in the sector.
- Green Economy Festival in Parma (March 28-30): The second part of the week will be held in Parma, with a rich program of conferences and talks from world-renowned experts such as Jeffrey Sachs and David MacMillan, Nobel laureates and prominent figures in the academic and business worlds. Entrepreneurs, journalists, and experts in green economy will be present for an in-depth discussion on key topics related to sustainability and ecological transition. Students will also have the opportunity to participate in various thematic sessions, including Energy, Sustainable Food, Sustainable Fashion, and Greenwashing, for a more detailed comparison of specific sectors in the green economy.
The Academy project will take place from Tuesday, March 25 to Sunday, March 30, 2025.
Additionally, this year a program in English is available for international students. Below is the call for applications in English: www.greenweekfestival.it/international-academy/
