On December 5th, from 15:00 to 16:30, the IRAlert project will host a webinar addressing the critical link between nature-based solutions (NbS), climate change, and public health. During the event, participants will explore how health impacts, including infectious disease risks, can be integrated into the design and evaluation of NbS.
The webinar will offer an opportunity for experts and stakeholders involved in NbS and related fields to discuss the importance of considering health effects in climate policies. A central theme will be the urgency of integrating climate change and global health data into policy decisions to prevent risks such as increased outbreaks of infectious diseases linked to certain NbS.
This event is aimed at professionals in the environmental, public health, urban planning, and policy sectors.
