“The Country of Biodiversity”: an exhibition by National Geographic Italy and NBFC

The National Biodiversity Future Center (NBFC), in collaboration with National Geographic Italy and the CNR, presents the exhibition “The Country of Biodiversity” from January 20 to April 30, 2025, at the CNR headquarters in Rome. The exhibition, featuring 50 photographs by the collective The Wild Line, explores Italy’s rich biodiversity, highlighting the threats posed by climate change.

Italy is home to the highest number of living and endemic species in Europe, but many of them are under threat. The exhibition raises public awareness about the importance of protecting this natural heritage, emphasizing the need for concrete actions to conserve fragile ecosystems, especially in the context of the growing environmental crisis.

Events like this are crucial for those working on Nature-Based Solutions (NBS), as they raise awareness about the need to preserve ecosystems, promoting scientific understanding and commitment to nature conservation.
